Brief
Given the short timescales and working closely with the main contractor and their tight build program, Portsdown were challenged with supplying over 800 workstations, seating and storage, in two main phases to the new Headquarters building in Winchester.
Implementation
With a demanding installation program, we worked closely with BAM's on site project team and the client to deliver the project within the restricted installation windows provided to us. Using our internal logistics department expertise, all floors were complete and handed over on time.
Our solution
Working with HCC's Property Management and Design Team to provide not only a cost effective solution but one that aligns with their strict environmental requirements. Portsdown proposed a desking system and task seating from Steelcase. Offering a class leading environmental story as well as a 15 year warranty, the system offered the council the value, flexibility and future proofing it required.
