Forest School Horsham
Brief
As part of a continuing supply and consultancy contract for West Sussex County Council Education, Portsdown were asked to design and provide furniture that combined Educational and I.T requirements in a flexible environment.
Implementation
With a fast track building program designed to finish at the end of the school holiday, the timing was essential to allow the centre to be operational for the start of the academic year. Utilising our in-house logistics we are able to work closely with the developers to ensure a successful handover ontime and on budget.
Solution
The Forest Enterprise Centre and Learning Centre had to support both the schools needs and adult learning out of school hours, so the selection of product was key to the success of the project to ensure trouble free operation throughout the long working day. The ISIS flip computer workstation was selected after careful analysis, as the most robust product on the market, and Portsdown worked closely with them and the client to develop a cost effective solution that suited the various classroom sizes and environment. The dual use of the flip top desk allowed the centre to offer a clean environment that is flexible and controllable.
