Children's Centres
Brief
To support Hampshire and West Sussex County Councils in a government funded initiative to provide an environment for child and parent interaction and support, and to encourage learning and discovery.
Implementation
By providing mockups that were able to be tested for both design and durability, Portsdown selected a range of products to suit the variety and diversification of the centres needs from young children, through to teenagers and parents. Careful control of budget and use of the ‘scalable’ buying power helped produce cost effective solutions delivered by our own in-house logistics.
Our solution
After being selected to provide the FF&E support to the 60+ centres across the two counties, Portsdown worked with the architects, county staff and end users to understand and develop a design and select products that supported and nurtured the culture of openness and interaction.
