Brief
Portsdown were successfully appointed to supply FF&E for Suffolk New College’s £70million new build. Owing mainly to our breadth of product interpretating & understanding the project brief, product selection & specification, concise & lucid consultation and product price. Product was specified for the College’s impressive central Atrium, state of the art Learning Resource Centre, general purpose & specialist teaching rooms, ICT classrooms, staff hub, staff clusters, open plan offices, meeting rooms, boardrooms, hair & beauty salons, media studios, fashion studios and music studios.
Our solution
As well as furniture specification Portsdown carried out the specification of fixed furniture for technician workshops, art & textiles studios, photography studios and general art & design studios. Developing a sucessful & coherent relationship with both the client and project manager enabled Portsdown to continually meet the increasing requirements of FF&E and manage a well thought through installation schedule. Building relationships with the contractor and site managers was also key to Portsdown's successful project delivery.
