Providing both the space planning and supply and fit-out of office furniture for the new Police Investigation Centre in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Portsdown worked alongside the project team to provide storage surveys and BIM 3D plans a year in advance, ensuring critical team layouts and building services could be accommodated successfully in the new building.
Client Profile
The North Hampshire Police Investigation Centre in Basingstoke was designed to enable people to be processed more efficiently so front-line police officers can return to duty quicker. The building comprises a 36-cell secure facility to accommodate approximately 350 investigators and related teams working on a shift basis.
